Position : PCB / Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Function: Electronics Design & Development

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on PCB / Electronics Design Engineer to join our engineering team at EXPANSE POWER PVT LTD.

This is a practical, execution-focused electronics role. The product concept and functional requirements will be defined by the engineering team. The selected engineer will be responsible for translating these requirements into a working, reliable and manufacturable electronic board .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electronic circuit schematics based on defined functional requirements.
• Design and develop PCB layouts for electronic control and related applications.
• Select suitable electronic components considering functionality, availability, reliability and manufacturability.
• Work with basic and analog/digital electronic circuits, including op-amps and associated components .
• Prepare the necessary documentation and design outputs for PCB manufacture and assembly.
• Coordinate and support PCB/PCA assembly, board bring-up and testing .
• Identify and resolve circuit, layout and assembly-related issues.
• Ensure designs are practical, reliable and suitable for manufacturing.
• Work closely with the engineering team to convert established concepts into functional electronic hardware within required timelines.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in electronic circuit design, schematic development and PCB layout .
• Practical knowledge of electronic components and analog/digital electronics.
• Demonstrated experience in taking a circuit from schematic through PCB layout, manufacture, assembly and testing .
• Good understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly requirements.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve board-level electronics issues.
• Relevant practical industry experience in PCB/electronics design and development is essential.

What We Are Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates who are practical and execution-oriented and are comfortable working directly with circuits and boards.

This role is distinct from a purely system-level or conceptual hardware design position. The emphasis is on the ability to take an established engineering concept and efficiently convert it into a working and manufacturable electronic board .

Guidance and mentoring on our products, applications and specific technical requirements will be provided. However, the selected candidate is expected to already possess strong core competencies in electronics, schematic design, PCB layout, board assembly and troubleshooting .
