Job Description\ N HGV Class 1 Driver – ADR\ N \n Location: Motherwell, North Lanarkshire\ N Pay: £19.30/hr (days) to £24.39/hr (nights)\ N Type: Full-time, temporary, ongoing\ N Recruiter: Pertemps on behalf of BOC\ N Role: Delivering gas products, operating tankers and trailers, minor vehicle repairs, customer interaction, and occasional overnight working. \ N Role Responsibilities\ N \n \n Bulk Delivery: Transporting and delivering high-risk liquefied cryogenic gases to industrial and medical clients.\ N Safety Compliance: Operating strict health and safety protocols regarding the discharge of hazardous gas materials and dealing with pressure-regulated tankers. \ N Vehicle Care: Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks, tracking digital tachograph records, and keeping exact log details.\ N Key Requirements\ N \n \n HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 3 years\ N Driver CPC (DQC)\nADR Class 2 (Tanks)\ N Tanker driving experience\ N No more than 3 penalty points on licence\ N Good knowledge of tachograph legislation and strong safety awareness.\ N Assessments: Candidates must complete a site driving assessment and an interview with the client prior to final placement.
