We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Purchase & Stores to support procurement and stores operations for our Aerospace MRO facility. The role involves managing procurement activities, inventory control, SAP transactions, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely material availability to support aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase

• Execute procurement of aircraft spares, tools, consumables, and services as per operational requirements.
• Float RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and support vendor selection.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP MM.
• Track procurement status and coordinate timely deliveries with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Finance for invoice processing and vendor payments.

Stores & Inventory

• Manage receipt, inspection, storage, tagging, and issue of aircraft materials and consumables.
• Perform SAP MM transactions including GRN, Goods Issue (GI), stock transfers, and inventory updates.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory verification.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure material traceability.
• Monitor shelf-life-controlled items and bonded stores.

Coordination & Compliance

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams for uninterrupted material support.
• Maintain procurement and inventory documentation in line with aviation quality standards.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare MIS reports using SAP and MS Excel.

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Aeronautical / Production / Automobile or related discipline with 10–12 years of relevant experience , OR
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Aeronautical / Production / Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 6–8 years of relevant experience .

Experience

• Experience in Purchase and/or Stores operations.
• Aviation, Aerospace, Defence, or MRO industry experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MM is mandatory.
• Knowledge of aircraft spares, inventory control, and warehouse operations is preferred.
