Job Title: US Accountant (US Taxation )

We are seeking an experienced Part Time Accountant with strong hands-on expertise in end-to-end US Taxation, US Accounting, and US Payroll. The ideal candidate must have practical experience managing the complete US tax lifecycle from scratch, including tax preparation, review, compliance, and filing through relevant tax software and portals.

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and credit card statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle US accounting processes in accordance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
• Prepare and support US tax filings , including federal, state, and local tax requirements.
• Process and manage US payroll , ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Prepare payroll tax filings and related reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Utilize Zoho Books and QuickBooks Online/Desktop for accounting and financial management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Support audits and respond to financial inquiries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper handling US-based clients .
• Strong knowledge of US Accounting, US Taxation, and US Payroll .
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and QuickBooks .
• Understanding of GAAP and US financial reporting standards.
• Experience with payroll systems and payroll tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• CPA, EA, or relevant accounting certification.
• Experience working with multiple US clients across different industries.
• Familiarity with sales tax filings, 1099 preparation, and year-end reporting.

Experience with cloud-based accounting and financial management systems.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Important Note: Candidates must have hands-on experience in End-to-End US Taxation, including independent tax preparation and filing through tax software and portals. Candidates with only bookkeeping or general accounting experience may not be a suitable fit.
