Job description:Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Tableau & Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimise enterprise-grade analytics and reporting solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and onsite/offshore teams to translate requirements into scalable dashboards and data solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesTableau DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualisations.Translate business requirements and KPIs into intuitive and actionable reporting solutions.Develop efficient data models and calculated measures to support complex reporting requirements.Optimise Tableau dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.Work with both live connections and extracts based on reporting and performance requirements.Support report rationalisation, enhancements, defect resolution, and production support.Establish and follow dashboard development, publishing, and governance standards.
Snowflake & SQL DevelopmentDevelop and optimise complex SQL queries, views, and data transformations in Snowflake.Design reporting-ready data models and datasets for Tableau consumption.Perform data analysis, profiling, validation, and reconciliation across multiple data sources.Troubleshoot data quality and reporting discrepancies across the reporting stack.Analyse and improve Snowflake query performance. Snowflake documents optimisation approaches including clustering, materialised views, Search Optimisation Service, and Query Acceleration Service.Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on ingestion, transformation, and data-model changes.
Delivery & Stakeholder ManagementWork directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and convert them into technical solutions.Own deliverables from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and production support.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide accurate estimates and delivery updates.Perform code/design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members. xzbcwsv Collaborate effectively in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
