Senior Audit Associate

Our client, a boutique public accounting firm in the Lincolnshire IL area, is looking to add an Audit Senior to their team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with 2–5 years of public accounting audit experience who is looking for hands-on exposure, direct client interaction, and the ability to grow quickly within a collaborative environment.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with audit, review, and compilation engagements for privately held clientsWork directly with clients to gather financial information and support engagement needsPrepare workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentationIdentify and communicate accounting or operational issues during engagementsCollaborate with seniors, managers, and partners throughout the engagement processDevelop an understanding of client operations and industry-specific accounting practicesParticipate in client meetings and continue building professional communication skills
Qualifications2–5 years of audit experience within public accountingBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA certificationExperience within the construction, real estate, manufacturing, or technology industries is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMotivated, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiativeAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
