What you will do:

We are looking for a MARKETPLACE SALES REPRESENTATIVE who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.

  • Identify and qualify new business prospects through current member outreach, networking, and digital outreach.
  • Assess client needs and recommend Marketplace insurance products aligned with member goals.
  • Manage the sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly production and revenue targets.
  • Manage the member journey from initial contact through enrollment and ongoing retention.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls while meeting agreed service standards and deadlines.
  • Own and resolve incoming inquiries via phone or email, following industry best practices and compliance expectations.
  • Acquire new business and manage ongoing member relationships primarily through phone and email.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation by keeping databases and CRM records up to date.
  • Develop a clear understanding of member circumstances, needs, and expectations to deliver appropriate solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to support referrals, enrollments, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare or coordinate marketing and sales collateral needed to advance opportunities and close sales.
  • Facilitate communication between members/clients and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Attend meetings as needed and provide timely updates on pipeline, member needs, and operational issues.

What you will bring:

Education : High School Diploma or equivalency required.

Experience : A minimum of two years’ relevant Marketplace (Exchange) insurance sales experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Strong understanding of the local insurance market. Ability to analyze an agency book on a quarterly basis and recommend actions. Ability to explain complex technical or insurance terms to diverse audiences. Strong problem-solving skills to navigate organizational processes and resolve member issues. Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a hybrid environment. Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision and values. Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) as well as CRM systems; with ability to work with a variety of project management tools. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.

Licenses/Certifications : Must hold a Health, Accident, and Life Insurance license for the state of Colorado and complete continuing education to maintain it and in good standing . A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.

Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access:

The compensation for this position is a base salary of $70,000.00 0- $75,000.00 annually, plus commissions. Colorado Access has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Colorado Access may pay for the position at the time of posting. Colorado Access may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Where you will work:

This position will be a hybrid model work environment, a blend of ‘In-Office’ and ‘Remote.’

We are not able to support out of state employees at this time as we continue to serve our members and community in the metro Denver area and across the beautiful state of Colorado.
