Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Medical Billing Specialist based in Lahore. The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the entire billing process, which includes claims submission, processing payments, handling denials, and ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines. Daily tasks involve verifying and updating patient information, reviewing claims for accuracy, and addressing discrepancies. Collaboration with insurance companies, understanding billing policies, and using coding systems such as ICD-10 are integral to this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and understanding of medical procedures related to billing
• Experience in Claims Management, including Denials handling and resolution
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding systems and related documentation
• Comprehensive understanding of Insurance and Medicare requirements and processes
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment
• Familiarity with health information systems and billing software is a plus
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing is preferred
