About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Optometrist to join our eye-care team in Singapore. The successful candidate will provide professional eye examinations, assess visual needs, support appropriate vision correction, and contribute to high standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations.
• Assess visual acuity, refractive errors, binocular vision and other relevant visual functions.
• Perform refraction and prescribe appropriate corrective lenses where professionally permitted.
• Assist patients with the selection and fitting of spectacles and contact lenses.
• Identify signs requiring referral to an ophthalmologist or other healthcare professional.
• Maintain accurate patient records and examination documentation.
• Educate patients on eye health, vision care and the appropriate use of corrective devices.
• Follow applicable clinical, workplace safety and patient-care procedures.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards in all patient interactions.

Requirements

• Relevant recognised qualification in Optometry.
• Relevant professional registration/licensing required for practising in Singapore, where applicable.
• Practical experience in optometry or a related clinical setting is preferred.
• Good communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work professionally as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Candidates must meet all applicable Singapore regulatory and employment requirements.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: S$4,000 per month
