Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM Developer with around 5+ years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management, data integration, ETL development, and SQL to join our team and take full ownership of our data integrity and golden record accuracy. If you are a wizard with Match Rules and have a deep understanding of MDM metadata, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

· Match Rule Mastery: Configure and fine-tune complex Match Rules to proactively identify and resolve all match-related issues.

· Data Integrity: Ensure seamless master data synchronization between modules and external systems, maintaining a high standard for Golden Record accuracy.

· Technical Development: Utilize SIF (Service Integration Framework) for robust MDM development and integration.

· Architecture Deep-Dive: Apply detailed knowledge of MDM dependent and metadata tables to maintain and optimize the environment.

· Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for complex problem-solving and technical performance tuning.

· Design, develop, configure, and maintain Informatica MDM solutions including MDM Hub components and associated processes.

· Develop and maintain MDM data models, mappings, transformations, landing/staging structures, and data integration workflows.

· Implement MDM processes including data consolidation, matching, merging, survivorship, hierarchy management, and data validation.

· Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify data quality, duplication, transformation, and integration issues.

· Participate in data warehouse development, including staging, dimensional modeling, fact/dimension structures, and ETL implementation.

· Integrate master data from multiple source systems into centralized MDM and data warehouse environments.

· Implement and maintain data quality, validation, standardization, and reconciliation rules.

· Support production deployments, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and ongoing enhancement of MDM solutions.

· Maintain technical documentation covering data flows, mappings, MDM processes, and implementation details.

· Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica MDM.

· Strong understanding of MDM architecture and concepts.

· Core Expertise: Proven track record in Informatica MDM hub development.

· The "Brain" of MDM: Extensive experience with Match & Merge configuration and resolving data overlap issues.

· Experience with MDM Hub, Base Objects, Landing Tables, Staging Tables, Mappings, Match & Merge, Survivorship, Trust, Validation Rules, Data Cleansing/Standardization, Hierarchy Management, and Batch Processes.

· Integration: Hands-on expertise in development using SIF API.

· Strong understanding of Reference Data and Master Data concepts.

· Experience troubleshooting MDM jobs, workflows, and data issues.

Good to Have

· Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

· Exposure to Informatica IICS / IDMC.

· Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.

· Experience with APIs and REST/SOAP-based data integration.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
