C&Q Senior Engineer | Lebanon, Indiana

We’re looking for an experienced C&Q Senior Engineer to join a major pharmaceutical capital program in Lebanon, Indiana. You’ll work directly alongside the C&Q lead, taking ownership of systems as they move from construction through commissioning and qualification to operational handover.

This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone who can step in and run with it from day one.

Contract details:

• Initial 12-month contract on a multi-year program
• Fully on site in Lebanon, Indiana
• Competitive W2 hourly rate plus capped expenses

What you’ll be doing:

• Coordinating the systems needed for Temporary Certificate of Occupancy, including air handlers, chilled water and heating hot water, and making sure their C&Q is completed on schedule.
• Taking responsibility for C&Q of process equipment.
• Leading schedules, meetings and walkdowns with Construction, C&Q and Operations.
• Managing system handovers from construction through to C&Q and operations.
• Making sure service providers complete documentation on time and to the required standard.
• Working through punch lists, deviations and change controls to keep systems moving.

What we’re looking for:

• 8 to 15 years of hands-on, field-based C&Q experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• A strong C&Q background in small-molecule API or biologics. Peptide experience is highly desirable.
• A track record of long-term project assignments, ideally seeing projects through multiple stages.
• Experience with mechanical completion and system turnover is a plus.
• The confidence to work independently and coordinate across construction, engineering and operations teams.
