YEMI primarily focuses on manufacturing of Industrial Engines and sales and service of the Industrial Engines/Agricultural Products/ Marine (Small – Medium & Large) Engines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison between Service Department and Plant to ensure seamless communication and swift resolution of customer complaints
• Provide technical support to the after-sales service team through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Address service inquiries and troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues related to engines, including Mechanical and Common Rail engines.
• Investigate field complaints and returned engines/parts from the market due to defects, with hands-on involvement
• Ensure quick and accurate information flow between Customer Service, Plant Operations, & Quality Assurance teams
• Prepare detailed technical reports with root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations
• Make warranty primary judgments based on technical investigation
• Conduct site visits (OEM plants / Field) in complex/challenging situations to assess issues firsthand and provide immediate technical support
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Cross-Functional Team (CFT).
• Develop and update Failure Tree Analysis (FTA) and troubleshooting guides based on customer complaints.
• Manage, maintain, & calibrate special tools, & ensure the investigation room operates according to YEMI standards.
• Share and disseminate quality-related information with YJ Quality Assurance Division members including field failure data, trend analysis, and improvement recommendations
• Sound knowledge of inspection tools and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, etc.)
• Customer-centric mindset and proactive problem-solver with strong analytical thinking

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in engine assembly and ability to disassemble and assemble engines independently
• Hands-on experience in investigating field complaints and conducting failure analysis
• Deep technical knowledge of engine functionality including combustion systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and mechanical components
• Knowledge of quality control methods and problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, PDCA, etc.)
• Knowledge and experience in overall plant operations (safety, quality control, processing, assembly, maintenance)
• Strong negotiation skills to handle customer complaints and manage expectations professionally
• Presentation skills, ability to deliver clear, concise technical presentations to customers and management
• Knowledge and experience on ECU and Software Tools such as Smart Assist – Direct (SAD)
• Speaking proficiency in Hindi Added Advantage

Education - B. Tech/B. E

Experience - Similar working experience for 10 to 12 Years
