On-Call Substitute School Bus Driver

Requirements / Qualifications Resume One letter of recommendation (not older than 2 years) NOTE: Your application is not complete without these required attachments. Qualifications: Requires a complete working knowledge and understanding of safe bus driving practices sufficient to recognize problems and take appropriate action. Requires knowledge of two-way radio operations, and proper radio/telephone etiquette. Requires ability to drive a school bus safely and sufficiently while keeping to well-established schedules. Requires the ability to use positive reinforcement to maintain calm and order among students, both while driving and at bus stops. Requires a valid California Commercial Class A or B Driver's License, medical examination card, valid California Special Driver Certificate with Passenger (P) Split Shift 6 a.m.-10 a.m. and 1 p.m. -5 p.m. Note: This is an on-call substitute school bus driver assignment. We do our best to contract work for at least 8 hrs. However, you may only get same day notice to cover an absence.
