A rapidly growing, VC-backed AI/SaaS business is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join its lean and high-performing finance function.
Founded just 18 months ago, the company has already scaled to approximately 85 employees and $45m+ ARR. The finance team currently consists of a CFO, Controller and a Strategic Finance Head, creating an excellent opportunity for someone to join at a stage where they can have a genuine impact on the development of the accounting function.
The ideal candidate will be naturally curious, highly detail-oriented and someone who enjoys looking at an existing process and asking:“How can we do this better? Can AI help us do it faster or more effectively?”
You'll work closely with the Controller and wider finance team across month-end, AP, AR, cost analysis and systems implementation, while helping the business work towards a 3-day month-end close.
Profile2–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a high-growth technology, SaaS or similar environment.Demonstrable examples of previous process improvements, with the ability to explain what was improved, how they approached it and the impact it had.Practical experience using AI tools to automate tasks, analyse data, improve workflows or solve problems, ideally with examples of how they've applied AI in an accounting or finance context.Naturally curious and proactive, with a genuine interest in challenging existing processes and finding better ways of working.Experience supporting month-end close, AP, AR and financial analysis.Comfortable working in an environment where processes are still being built and improved.SaaS experience is a plus, but not essential.Candidates coming directly from audit will be considered if they can demonstrate tangible examples of process improvement, practical AI usage or finding more efficient ways of working beyond established procedures. xzbcwsv
