The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of diagnosing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles and equipment and perform preventative maintenance. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong work ethic and quality workmanship. What you will be doing as a Commercial Mechanic: Perform mechanical work including but not limited to alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications. No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility. Providing guidance and training to other team members Helping to assign jobs and duties to team members Assisting with scheduling customer jobs Helping to motivate team members and keep them on task Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory. Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs. What We're Looking For: Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles. Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must. Must have own tools and tool storage. Experience working with computer point of sale software is a plus. Possessing a CDL is a plus.
