Technical project manager

Role Summary (#immediatejoinerspreferred)

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead planning, governance, execution tracking, and engineering coordination for a large-scale cloud modernization program for a leading North American bank. The role requires a blend of project management, technical understanding, stakeholder management, and data-driven reporting, with a strong focus on leveraging Gen AI tools to improve engineering productivity and delivery visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end project planning, scheduling, and execution tracking across multiple cloud migration workstreams. Hands-on expertise in. NET-based application development with the ability to collaborate closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver business solutions. Create and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and delivery dashboards. Coordinate daily with Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, Architects, QE Leads, and Product Owners to ensure execution remains on track. Track progress across multiple scope buckets and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies. Prepare weekly executive status reports, governance packs, KPIs, and steering committee updates. Facilitate sprint planning, backlog reviews, delivery reviews, and cross-team synchronization meetings. Monitor engineering health metrics including delivery velocity, milestone adherence, defect trends, and release readiness. Drive action-item closure and follow-up across distributed onsite/offshore teams. Support estimation, capacity planning, resource forecasting, and release planning. Promote data-driven decision making through dashboards and actionable insights.

Gen AI & Engineering Productivity

Track Gen AI adoption and productivity metrics across engineering teams. Monitor Copilot/Agent usage, check-ins, code generation, and engineering productivity trends. Publish dashboards highlighting automation gains, engineering efficiencies, and adoption KPIs. Coordinate with Engineering Excellence teams to improve delivery effectiveness using AI-assisted development practices. Identify opportunities to automate project reporting and governance using Gen AI tools.
