A Top 10 Wealth Management Firm is seeking a High-Net-Worth Tax Manager to join its growing tax team. This role focuses on reviewing and signing tax returns for high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families nationwide.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working with sophisticated individual, trust, and closely held business clients while maintaining a healthier work-life balance than traditional public accounting environments.
What You'll Be DoingReview and sign complex individual, trust, and fiduciary tax returnsAdvise high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients on tax mattersReview Forms 1040 and 1041 and provide guidance to staff and seniorsWork with partnerships, S corporations, trusts, estates, and other pass-through entitiesCollaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver a high level of serviceMentor and develop junior tax professionals
Qualifications5-7+ years of public accounting tax experienceStrong experience with Forms 1040 and 1041Experience reviewing tax returnsSign-off authority preferred for manager-level candidatesExperience with partnerships, S corporations, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses is a plusCPA preferred
CompensationReview and sign-off experience requiredBase salary: $130,000 - $160,000
