Senior Project Engineer Opportunity - Data Center - Reno, Nevada

I’m partnered with a leading electrical contractor to hire a Senior Project Engineer to support data center construction projects in Reno, Nevada.

With a strong and growing presence in the electrical contractor market, the business is looking for someone to play a critical role in delivering a hyperscale project, with a strong pipeline of future work beyond the initial assignment.

What you’ll do:

• Manage material procurement, including quantity take-offs, and track deliveries with the purchasing team
• Create and maintain submittals, submittal logs and RFIs
• Price and process change orders, including lump sum change orders, and track field work orders and proposals
• Review project drawings and specifications
• Coordinate schedules with the superintendent, field team, vendors, manufacturers and subcontractors
• Act as a point of contact for clients and attend project and job site meetings

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the electrical data center industry
• Strong problem-solving, research and analytical skills
• Knowledge of inventory and supply management
• Degree in construction management, engineering or a related field

The package:

• Hours: 5 AM to 2 PM with a 1-hour lunch
