Position: Sr. Compliance Executive Experience: 5–7 Years Industry: Food Manufacturing / FMCG Location: Gurgaon / Manufacturing Unit Department: Compliance / Quality & Regulatory Reporting To: Management / Head – Quality & Compliance Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager with 5–7 years of experience in the food manufacturing/FMCG industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing statutory, regulatory, food safety, and factory compliance, including licenses, audits, inspections, documentation, and regulatory updates. Key Responsibilities * Manage end-to-end FSSAI compliance, including licenses, renewals, filings, and amendments. * Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Labour Laws, Pollution Control Board, Fire Safety, Legal Metrology, and other statutory requirements. * Manage and track all licenses, permits, certifications, statutory registers, and compliance records. * Coordinate with government authorities for inspections, audits, notices, and regulatory visits. * Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, BRCGS, and applicable food safety standards. * Conduct compliance reviews, identify gaps, and implement CAPA and corrective actions. * Coordinate internal, external, customer, regulatory, and certification audits and ensure timely closure of observations. * Stay updated with changes in food, labour, factory, environmental, and statutory regulations. * Coordinate with Production, Quality, HR, EHS, Finance, and Management for continuous compliance. * Manage regulatory documentation including COA, MSDS/SDS, product specifications, labels, artwork approvals, and export documentation, where applicable. * Support supplier qualification, NPD, product trials, traceability exercises, mock recalls, and product commercialization from a compliance perspective. * Maintain a compliance calendar and provide regular compliance reports to Management. Key Compliance Areas * FSSAI & Food Safety Compliance * Factory & Labour Law Compliance * Legal Metrology * Pollution Control & Fire Safety * GMP & HACCP * ISO 22000 / ISO 9001 / BRCGS * Licenses, Permits & Statutory Renewals * Regulatory Audits & Government Inspections * CAPA, RCA & Risk Assessment Candidate Profile * 5–7 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, QA, Food Safety, or FMCG/Food Manufacturing. * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field. * Strong knowledge of FSSAI and statutory compliance requirements. * Experience in handling government inspections, audits, licenses, and regulatory documentation. * Strong communication, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills. KPIs * Timely renewal of all licenses, permits, and certifications. * Timely completion of statutory filings and returns. * Successful closure of audit observations and CAPAs. * Zero critical statutory/regulatory non-compliances. * Effective maintenance of compliance records and documentation. Preferred Background: Candidates from food manufacturing, edible oils, nutraceuticals, FMCG, dairy, beverages, or similar regulated industries will be preferred.
