Position OverviewPolar Block Home Buyers is Colorado's trusted cash home buyer, helping homeowners sell fast, as-is, and without the headaches of the traditional market. Since 2018, we've built our reputation on speed, honesty, and doing right by every seller we work with. Now we're growing — and we need a driven Outside Sales Rep to sit at the kitchen table with motivated sellers and turn conversations into signed contracts.
This role is where opportunities become deals. Our Inside Sales Agents qualify sellers and set the appointments; you show up, earn the seller's trust, present a fair cash offer, and lock up the deal. You'll run in-home appointments up and down the Front Range, follow up relentlessly on every opportunity, and protect the margin on every contract you write. You'll treat every homeowner with the same integrity and care that has defined Polar Block since day one. If you thrive on working diligently to achieve your goals, learning and improving every day, and striving to win every day — this is your seat.
Key Responsibilities1) In-Home Appointments & Sales ProcessConfirm your appointment schedule each morning and arrive on time and prepared for every appointment.Execute our proven sales process on every appointment, from setting expectations and building trust to presenting solutions and closing the deal. Build rapport quickly and confidently; high emotional intelligence is needed for the variety of emotional seller situations — empathy and clarity are non-negotiable.Present cash offers clearly and negotiate agreements that work for both the seller and the company.Document every appointment, offer, and outcome in Salesforce.2) Pipeline Follow-UpOwn the follow-up on every seller you meet; no opportunity is dropped until the seller makes a clear decision.Stay in consistent contact with sellers who are still deciding, using calls, texts, and check-ins to keep the conversation moving.Regularly revisit past appointments and older opportunities to find sellers whose situation or timeline has changed.Partner with the inside sales team to re-engage missed appointments and support lead follow-up when your calendar allows.Keep every open opportunity current with a clear next step and follow-up date.3) CRM Management & ReportingOwn Salesforce data integrity — every appointment, offer, and outcome logged promptly and accurately.Provide regular updates to leadership on your pipeline, deals in progress, and expected closings.Use your own activity and results to self-manage and spot where you can improve.Flag at-risk deals, lead quality issues, or market trends that impact acquisition strategy.4) Team Coordination & HandoffDeliver clean, complete contract handoffs to the transaction coordinator — no surprises, full context.Give the ISA team regular feedback on appointment quality so they can sharpen qualification.Participate in daily team huddles, weekly team meetings, and regular one-on-one pipeline reviews with the Director of Acquisitions; bring data, not excuses.Show up ready for ongoing sales training, role-play, and coaching.
QualificationsRequired Experience1–3+ years in in-home sales, outside sales, or another face-to-face closing role (home improvement, solar, roofing, security, insurance, or similar). No real estate license or prior real estate experience required — we'll teach you comps, MAO, and contracts.Proven track record hitting close-rate and revenue targets in a commission-based role.Hands-on experience with a CRM — Salesforce experience preferred.Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comfort driving between Fort Collins and Colorado Springs.Skills & CompetenciesSalesforce CRM: opportunity management, activity logging, pipeline reporting.Comp analysis and deal math: ability to learn ARV, MAO, and repair estimates quickly.Strong in-person presence: clear, confident, empathetic, and persuasive at the kitchen table.Objection handling, negotiation, and asking for the signature under pressure — sellers don't always make it easy.Exceptional organization: manages a calendar, driving routes, and a follow-up pipeline without dropping balls.Self-starting with high follow-through; thrives on structure and accountability.
Behavioral Expectations (How We Work)Ownership: You treat every appointment like it's your deal — because it is. No one needs to chase you to follow up.Urgency: Speed matters. We coach because we care.Clear Communication: The transaction coordinator and dispositions team know exactly what's coming their way. No guessing. No gaps.Team-First: Every contract you sign fuels the whole business and honors the work the ISA team put in to set the appointment. You take that seriously.Detail & Accuracy: If it's not in Salesforce, it didn't happen. Data hygiene is part of the job.
