<p></p><p><b>VMC - DIVISION HOD </b> </p> <p></p> <p><b>Urgent Hiring – Head of Department (HOD) – VMC Division </b><br /> <b><br /> Position: </b> Head of Department (HOD) – VMC Division<br /> <b><br /> Experience: </b> 12–18 Years (Minimum 5 Years in Leadership Role)<br /> <b><br /> Qualification: </b> B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering (MBA in Operations preferred)<br /> <b><br /> Industry: </b> Automotive / Precision Engineering / Heavy Engineering / Aerospace / Industrial Equipment<br /> <b><br /> Location: </b> Sector-6, Faridabad<br /> <b><br /> Salary: </b> Best in Industry (Negotiable) </p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities </b><br /> Lead and manage complete VMC machining operations to achieve production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets.<br /> Develop and execute production plans while ensuring optimum utilization of machines, manpower, tooling, and resources.<br /> Monitor machine utilization, OEE, cycle times, productivity, and capacity planning.<br /> Drive process optimization, machining improvements, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.<br /> Ensure timely availability of raw materials, cutting tools, fixtures, gauges, and consumables.<br /> Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize machine uptime.<br /> Manage tooling selection, tool life monitoring, fixture management, and machining accessories.<br /> Control machining costs by reducing cycle time, downtime, scrap, rework, tooling consumption, and energy usage.<br /> Ensure compliance with ISO , IATF , ISO , ISO , 5S, and all safety standards.<br /> Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to achieve operational excellence. </p> <p><b>Required Technical Skills </b><br /> Strong expertise in Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and multi-axis machining.<br /> Hands-on knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, or similar controllers.<br /> Good understanding of CAM software such as Mastercam or SolidCAM.<br /> Expertise in machining process optimization, tooling selection, cutting parameters, and fixture design.<br /> Strong knowledge of GD&amp;T, engineering drawings, tolerance analysis, process capability, and precision machining.<br /> Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, hydraulic &amp; pneumatic fixtures, zero-point systems, coolant management, and machining economics. </p> <p><b>Candidate Profile </b><br /> 12–18 years of experience in VMC machining.<br /> Minimum 5 years of experience leading VMC manufacturing operations.<br /> Experience in high-volume precision machining environments is essential.<br /> Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, and team management skills. </p> <p><b>Required Qualifications </b><br /> Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.<br /> MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations Management is desirable </p> <p><b>Safety &amp; Compliance </b><br /> Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and statutory regulations.<br /> Promote safe work practices and conduct regular safety audits.<br /> Maintain high standards of housekeeping through 5S implementation.<br /> Ensure compliance with ISO , IATF , ISO , ISO , and other applicable management systems.<br /> </p> <p><b>Job Location: </b> Sector-6, Faridabad </p><p><br /> <b>Interested candidates can share their updated resume. </b> </p>
