Management Company Accountant / Senior Accountant

This role is for a top-tier global hedge fund for its Management Company Accounting team. This group owns the books, financial reporting and controls for the firm's own U.S. and international management entities. The team is hiring at two levels: Associate (2–4 years) and Senior Associate (5–8 years).
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 remote
What you'll doRun monthly and quarterly close: journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedulesPrepare financial reporting for the team and senior leadershipSupport regulatory and compliance reportingPartner with fund accounting, tax, legal/compliance and technology teamsHelp bring generative AI and automation into close, reporting and controlsSenior Associate: lead change initiatives from start to finish, review the team's deliverables and act as the technical expert on accounting and controls
What you'll bringActive CPA license (required)Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related fieldBig 4 audit experience in asset management, alternatives or financial services xzbcwsv (strongly preferred); Big 4-to-industry backgrounds also consideredSolid command of the close and reporting cycle, with sharp attention to detailInterest in using new technology and AI tools to improve how work gets doneClear communicator who handles sensitive information with discretionSenior Associate: a track record of reviewing others' work and owning process improvements or implementations
