We're seeking a skilled Sterilizer Repair Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain critical sterilization, washing, and surgical equipment used by hospitals, surgery centers, laboratories, and other healthcare facilities.Enjoy independent fieldwork, ongoing technical training, and the opportunity to keep essential healthcare equipment operating safely and reliably—all while returning home each night!

What You'll DoTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilizers, autoclaves, industrial washers, surgical tables, and surgical lights.Perform preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment modifications.Service equipment from manufacturers including Getinge (CASTLE), STERIS (AMSCO), Consolidated, and Tuttnauer.Travel to customer facilities throughout the Davenport region and surrounding territory.Document service activities, educate customers, and build strong customer relationships.
What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED.At least one year of experience repairing and maintaining Getinge (CASTLE) and/or STERIS (AMSCO) washing, sterilization, or surgical equipment.Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Computer proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Travel & ScheduleThis is a field-based position involving approximately 60–90% local travel, with customer sites potentially up to three hours from your home base. Technicians return home each night, with typical hours of 7 AM–4 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional emergency service calls may be required.
