Injection Molding Process Technician

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and hands-on Process Technician to support injection molding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for mold setup, process start-up and shutdown, troubleshooting, and optimizing molding processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mold setups, start-ups, shutdowns, and mold changes in accordance with established proceduresTroubleshoot molding processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment to resolve quality and performance issuesMonitor and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal cycle times and part qualitySupport process validation activities, documentation, and continuous improvement initiativesCommunicate effectively across shifts regarding machine status, process changes, and production updatesCollaborate with Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve equipment and mold-related issuesTrain and mentor operators, technicians, and material handlers as neededEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standardsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards)
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skillsAbility to identify and resolve process-related issues efficientlyBasic computer skills for documentation and data entry xzbcwsv Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindsetWillingness to learn new technologies, processes, and equipment
Preferred Skills & ExperienceHands-on experience with injection mold setup and process optimizationKnowledge of hot runner and cold runner systemsFamiliarity with scientific or decoupled molding principlesExperience with automation systems and auxiliary equipmentTechnical certifications (e.g., RJG or similar) are a plus
