Taika Play Studio is a play-based early years space being built from the ground up, with a focus on supporting growth and learning through thoughtfully designed environments, meaningful play experiences, and partnership with parents.

Role Description and Intent 

This is a full-time, on-site role at Taika Play Studio.

We’re looking for a General Intern to support Taika’s founder and Educators in their day to day activities. You’ll work closely with the founder to understand the logistics behind running a play based education start-up. This will be suitable for fresh graduates or those in penultimate or final year in college in humanities or related fields.

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka 

Key Responsibilities

Report to Taika’s Indiranagar office Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM.

Help with all administrative, lesson prep, and logistics in conducting Taika’s play based programs in different parts of Bangalore (will involve travelling within the city with the team).

Maintain a running record of all educational supplies and props available with Taika. Prepare order lists, get approval, and place orders as necessary for upcoming sessions.

Help with photography during the workshops with parents and children.

What We’re Looking For / Qualifications

Organized in executing tasks and in record keeping.

Able to follow instructions, both verbal and written. 

Interest in working in the early childhood education field or with start-ups after graduation.
