We’re Hiring | Head: Operations & Administration

Universal Wisdom School, Balewadi is looking for an experienced and dynamic Head, Operations & Administration to take ownership of the school’s operational and administrative functions.

This is a key leadership role for someone who can ensure that the school’s processes, infrastructure and support systems work seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations and administration of the school

• Oversee facilities, maintenance, housekeeping and campus readiness

• Lead security, safety, emergency preparedness and risk management

• Oversee transport operations and compliance

• Manage procurement, vendors, contracts and service providers

• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance

• Develop and implement robust administrative SOPs and systems

• Oversee assets, inventory and resource utilisation

• Plan and monitor operational budgets and expenditure

• Ensure operational readiness for the academic year, events and school activities

• Establish clear service standards, accountability and response timelines

• Identify operational risks and drive timely resolution of issues

• Lead and develop the school's non-academic support teams

• Work closely with the Principal and SLT to ensure smooth and efficient school functioning

We are looking for someone who:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in relevant field
• Has strong experience in school operations and administration .
• Has excellent knowledge of facilities, procurement, compliance, safety and vendor management
• Is a strong people leader with the ability to build accountable and service-oriented teams
• Is highly organised, process-driven and solution-oriented
• Can build systems and processes rather than simply manage day-to-day issues
• Has excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Demonstrates ownership, integrity and the ability to work in a fast-paced school environment.
