Key Responsibilities
Own and lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesOversee the general ledger, financial statements, and balance sheet integrityEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAPManage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity visibilityPrepare and support lender, investor, and board-level reportingLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in partnership with leadershipSupport external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirementsDevelop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsLead or support ERP implementations, system upgrades, and process standardizationIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalabilityMentor and develop accounting staff while maintaining a hands-on presenceServe as a strategic finance partner to founders and executive leadership
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance xzbcwsv (required)8–15+ years of progressive accounting experiencePrior experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership roleCPA preferred, not requiredPublic accounting background preferred, not requiredStrong experience with full-cycle close, financial reporting, and controlsExperience in PE-backed, growth-stage, or founder-led environments preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel; ERP experience strongly preferredAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
