Role Description We're looking for an Obstetrician who believes birth is normal until proven otherwise — and wants to practice that way, every day. We're now hiring a full-time, on-site Obstetrician to join our team in Kochi. This isn't a typical hospital OB role. At BirthVillage, midwives lead low-risk pregnancy and birth care; you'll be the specialist we turn to for higher-risk assessment, obstetric backup, and collaborative decision-making . Expect a manageable caseload, real clinical autonomy, and the kind of continuity of care that's rare in high-volume hospital obstetrics. Kochi, Kerala | Full-time, on-site To apply, send your CV to Obstetrician ObGyn MaternalHealth MidwiferyLedCare HiringNow KochiJobs HealthcareJobs WomensHealth BirthVillage Qualifications * Strong foundation in clinical Medicine, with the ability to provide safe, evidence-based care across the pregnancy and childbirth continuum. * Competence in Obstetrics, including antenatal assessment, labor management, and postpartum care for both low-risk and high-risk cases. * Experience in Gynecology, including routine gynecologic evaluation and management of common reproductive health conditions. * Ability to perform indicated Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetric Surgery within the scope of practice and institutional protocols. * Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/MS/DNB or equivalent), with valid medical registration. * Demonstrated commitment to respectful, person-centered maternity care and an interest in physiologic and natural birth practices. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and counseling skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting.
