Our client in the Bridgewater area is hiring for an Inventory & Materials Planning Analyst!This is a newly created, hands-on analytical position supporting inventory, materials planning, purchasing, forecasting, and production needs within a growing organization.The ideal candidate will understand how customer demand, inventory, purchasing, and production work together and will be comfortable digging into data to identify discrepancies, excess inventory, shortages, and opportunities to improve planning processes.Depending on experience, this role is paying $85,000–$100,000, including full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays).Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PMLocation: Fully OnsiteAbout the Role

Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor inventory levels, material requirements, forecasts, and production needsReview purchasing activity and identify discrepancies, excess orders, and changing demandAnalyze inventory vs. forecasted demand and help optimize material availabilityIdentify opportunities to adjust or reduce purchase orders based on demandPartner with Purchasing, Planning, Customer Service, Account Management, and ProductionTrack excess or aging inventory and help determine root causes and solutionsDevelop reporting and improve visibility into inventory and material requirementsIdentify process gaps and help create more standardized and scalable planning processesUtilize ERP and other systems to analyze data and support decision-makingSupport the implementation of new technology and AI-driven tools to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications3+ years of experience in inventory planning, materials planning, supply planning, purchasing, or production planningExperience in manufacturing or contract manufacturing strongly preferredStrong understanding of inventory, forecasting, purchasing, and material planningAbility to analyze large amounts of data and identify trends, discrepancies, and potential issuesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a hands-on environment and improving processesStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsERP experience required; experience with Sage X3 is a plus
