Role overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong experience in UK Accounting and Financial Reporting . The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to ensure accurate financial records and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage General Ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Execute Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end closing activities. Handle Intercompany accounting and reconciliations. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation. Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and company policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls. Mandatory Skills Strong knowledge of UK Accounting and Financial Reporting . Hands-on experience in: General Ledger Accounting Journal Entries & Accruals Balance Sheet Reconciliations Month-end, Quarter-end & Year-end Close Intercompany Accounting & Reconciliations Variance Analysis Experience supporting internal and external audits. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in ERP/Accounting systems and MS Excel. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field. 5-7 years of relevant experience in UK Accounting and Financial Reporting. Note: Candidates with strong exposure to General Ledger, financial close activities, reconciliations, audit support, and UK accounting practices will be preferred.
