Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with an established electrical contractor to identify an experienced Regional Director to lead its operations across the Nashville market.This is a senior leadership opportunity for an electrical construction professional with a strong background in operations, project delivery, financial management, and team leadership. The successful individual will take ownership of regional performance while developing teams, strengthening client relationships, and supporting continued growth.
Responsibilities:Provide leadership across regional electrical construction operations and multiple project teamsHold responsibility for financial performance, including revenue, costs, forecasting, margins, billing, profitability, and overall operational performanceLead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and operational teams, establishing clear responsibilities and supporting career developmentOversee multiple electrical construction projects, ensuring successful delivery across safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectationsProvide oversight across estimating and change management, including scope reviews, change orders, subcontractor/vendor pricing, and commercial negotiationsDrive effective project planning and scheduling, working closely with project teams to ensure manpower, sequencing, and project milestones remain alignedSupport and oversee preconstruction, VDC, prefabrication, and field technology strategies to improve project executionEstablish and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and key industry partnersDrive adherence to operational processes, project controls, reporting standards, and company procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements:5+ years of electrical construction field experience5+ years of management experience leading electrical construction project teamsProven track record delivering multiple large-scale electrical projects safely, on schedule, and within budgetStrong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost control, margins, and profitabilityExperience across electrical estimating, change orders, scheduling, and budget managementStrong leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor project xzbcwsv management teamsExcellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to travel throughout the region as required
Preferred Experience:10+ years leading project management or operational teams within electrical constructionExperience within Mission Critical, Data Center, or critical electrical infrastructureStrong knowledge of preconstruction, VDC, prefabrication, and field technologyExperience with scheduling platforms such as P6 and Microsoft ProjectStrong electrical estimating and project management software experienceExperience operating within a structured, process-driven electrical contracting environment
