This is a highly visible, hands-on position working directly with the CEO and key operating partners. The Director of Asset Management will be responsible for driving performance, making strategic asset-level decisions, and creating value across a portfolio that includes hospitality/resort, vacation rental, multifamily, and other real estate investments.The portfolio includes a combination of established operating assets, newer investments, and select assets requiring repositioning or more active asset management.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of real estate investmentsDevelop and execute annual asset-level business plans, budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiativesAnalyze monthly financial results, operating performance, cash flow, NOI, and key performance metricsIdentify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce expenses, improve operations, and enhance asset valueMake and support key asset-level decisions based on financial performance, market conditions, and investment objectivesProvide ownership-level oversight of third-party operators, property managers, and other operating partnersOversee capital improvements, renovations, redevelopment, and other value-creation initiativesEvaluate asset performance against underwriting and investment objectivesPartner with leadership on acquisitions, new investments, due diligence, and the transition of newly acquired assetsAssist with refinancing, recapitalization, dispositions, and other strategic initiativesPrepare financial analysis, investment recommendations, and reporting for senior leadership and investment partnersWork closely with accounting, finance, operations, lenders, investors, legal counsel, and outside partnersManage multiple assets and initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentIdeal Background7+ years of experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, investment management, development, or a closely related owner-side roleStrong preference for experience with a real estate owner, investor, sponsor, developer, REIT, family office, or private equity platformDemonstrated experience as a decision-maker, with the ability to evaluate xzbcwsv performance, identify issues, and execute strategies to drive resultsStrong financial modeling and analytical skills, including cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and investment returnsExperience evaluating asset-level operating performance and developing strategies to improve resultsHospitality, resort, vacation rental, multifamily, or mixed-use experience is highly desirableExperience with acquisitions, redevelopment, renovations, capital projects, workouts, or special situations is a plusAbility to effectively manage relationships with operators, property managers, lenders, investors, and other external partnersStrong business judgment with the ability to move between detailed financial analysis and broader investment strategyBachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
