TAX MANAGER (public accounting sector) – Top 50 Accounting Firm in the US

Location: Stuart, Florida 33496 (local candidates only please)On-site/Full-time Monday through Friday with ability to work extended hours if business calls for it (e.g., busy season deadline, client needs, etc.Compensation: $140,0000 to $150,000 salary (commensurate with experience) plus discretionary bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefitsPrior to hire: background check
Responsibilities – Tax Manager (public accounting sector):
Interact with clients & Firm team members to provide innovative, proactive individual & business tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely / effective mannerEnsure complete client & team satisfaction through open communication, managing deadlines and proactively sharing tax savings strategiesWork closely with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activitiesSupervise & lead Associate and Senior Associate team members to manage responsibilities and deadlines on client engagementsDevelop skills to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clientsKeep abreast of any legislative or professional changes, and consulting with clients on potential implicationsParticipate in Client development through networking events and professionally represent the firm in the business communityDisplay continual commitment to the Firm's Culture and Values and Client Service PrinciplesDemonstrate a level of communication skills, intuitive skills and resourcefulness that encourages others to follow and develop the same skills
Qualifications – Tax Manager (public accounting sector):
REQUIRED: xzbcwsv active CPA license (law degree a plus)REQUIRED: 4+ years’ previous public accounting experience with a strong concentration in tax including corporate, partnership, individual, trust & estate planning, and resolving complex tax issuesSpecialization & experience in both individual and business tax returns, with concentration in flow through entitiesWorking knowledge of various accounting softwareExcellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively with all the internal team and clientsStrong interpersonal and communication skills
