This fund was built by a former Citadel executive who wanted to do things differently. Same technical standards, same serious approach to the markets, but without the burn and churn that makes so many people walk away from finance altogether. The firm manages over five billion in assets and has been built from the ground up on modern technology. There are no legacy systems here, no inherited messes to unpick, just clean infrastructure and the space to build things properly.
You are joining a sharp engineering team working on the production platform that keeps everything running. You are building and operating distributed systems, owning deployment pipelines, managing configuration and observability tooling across the stack. Day to day you are working with technologies like Kubernetes for workload orchestration, Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring, and Python as your primary language. When something goes wrong in production, you are the person who figures out why and fixes it properly.
The team around you is experienced and genuinely collaborative. You will learn a lot here, not because you are thrown in the deep end alone, but because the people you work alongside know their craft and are happy to share it.
To be right for this, you have strong Python, a solid track record building and operating distributed systems, and real experience with configuration management and production debugging.
