What You Will Do:

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, including refraction, visual acuity assessments, keratometry, and detailed ocular health evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a range of vision and eye health conditions, including cataracts, ocular disease, low vision concerns, and binocular vision issues.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools, including optical coherence tomography and visual field testing, to support accurate diagnosis and informed treatment planning.
• Recommend customized solutions involving eyeglasses, premium contact lenses, vision therapy, and appropriate patient recall or follow-up care.
• Educate patients with clarity and compassion, helping them understand their eye health, treatment options, and long-term vision needs.
• Collaborate with a welcoming optical and clinical team to deliver an efficient, attentive patient experience and coordinate referrals when ophthalmology or surgical care is appropriate.

What You Will Bring:

• You hold a Doctor of Optometry degree and an active license to practice optometry in New York.
• You bring strong clinical experience performing comprehensive eye exams, refractions, contact lens evaluations, and ocular health assessments.
• You can confidently interpret diagnostic testing, including OCT imaging and visual field results, to support sound clinical decisions.
• You communicate effectively with patients and teammates, balancing clinical excellence with a personalized bedside manner.
• You are committed to accurate documentation, ethical care, and creating a positive experience for every patient.

Helpful Additional Experience:

• Experience with cataract co-management, LASIK consultations, vision therapy, low vision care, or ophthalmology collaboration will help you thrive in this diverse optometric setting.
• Familiarity with pre-testing workflows and patient recall processes is welcomed and supports a seamless patient journey.

Compensation and Benefits:

• You will earn a competitive annual salary of $160,000 to $190,000 based on experience and qualifications.
