Role OverviewRFO Holdings is seeking a detail‑oriented, hands‑on Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls across a multi‑entity structure. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a key part in supporting investment reporting and analysis, portfolio performance tracking, GAAP reporting, cash flow forecasting, and continuous process improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting — Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare financial statements and Key Performance Indicators.Internal Controls — Develop and maintain accounting policies and strengthen internal controls.Investment Accounting — Support reporting for investment entities, including capital accounts and valuations.Operational Accounting — Oversee AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll accounting, and general ledger accuracy.Process Improvement — Enhance workflows, documentation, and reporting automation.Cash Flow Support — Assist with cash flow forecasting and treasury administration.Budgeting & Planning — Support budgeting and financial planning. Required Qualifications7+ years of progressive accounting experience (candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong capability and growth potential).Strong understanding of accounting rules, financial reporting, and internal controls.Experience with modern accounting systems and multi‑entity environments.Detail‑oriented work style with strong organizational skills.Strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.Practical experience with accounting journal entries, general ledger management, and period-end close activities.Knowledge of Fixed Assets, including capitalization, tracking, and depreciation processes.Strong skills in applying core financial principles in preparing Financial Statements.Experience in private equity, investment management, or multi‑entity corporate structures.Demonstrated ability to streamline accounting workflows and modernize systems. Why Join RFO HoldingsDirect partnership with the CFO and senior leadership.High‑impact role within a growing investment platform.Opportunities for professional growth as the organization scales. xzbcwsv Competitive compensation and benefits. Additional DetailsLocation: Wichita, KansasVisa sponsorship is not availableCompensation commensurate with experience
