In this role, you will lead special projects, analyze financial transactions, and develop strategic accounting policies. You will ensure the accurate portrayal of business transactions and maintain compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and other regulatory bodies. • Record operated and non-operated revenue across all products
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of monthly revenue entries
• Prepare cash entries and reclassifications as needed
• Analyze accrual-to-actual variances and investigate discrepancies
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and revenue reconciliations
• Conduct financial analysis to validate monthly entries and ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
• Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies
• Implement appropriate internal controls to assure accounting integrity

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and accounting software

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Finance
• Experience in the oil and gas industry and with ERP platforms like SAP
