TalentFish is looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Procurement Solutions Consultant who combines strong functional knowledge with a solid technical understanding of D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM).

This is NOT a Project Manager or Program Manager position.
We need someone who understands how Finance operates and can serve as the trusted liaison between Finance leadership, IT, developers, and implementation partners.You'll help own and improve D365 Finance solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, challenge technical recommendations when needed, and make sure the technology supports the business.
What we're looking for:5+ years of hands-on D365 Finance & Operations / F&SCM functional experienceDeep understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial processesExperience with Procurement, Purchasing, Vendor Management, Inventory, or Supply ChainAbility to configure D365, investigate issues, identify root causes, and work directly with developers on solutionsExperience translating Finance business requirements into functional specifications and system improvementsStrong experience with UAT, integrations, production support, and post-implementation stabilizationConfidence working directly with Finance leadership and business stakeholdersAbility to work independently and take ownership of problems through resolutionHighly preferred:Background in accounting or Finance before transitioning into ITExperience with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, construction, or project-based businessesKnowledge of job costing, project operations, inventory, warehousing, or field servicePower Platform, Power BI, or Azure integration experience
Position Details:Location: Chicago North Suburbs — Hybrid, with onsite work as neededDuration: 6+ monthsStart: Immediate need — ideally within 1–2 weeks
