Harbor Periodontics is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional periodontal and preventive care in our in-person Baltimore, MD practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Dental Hygienist, RDH, or periodontal hygienist who wants to work at the top of their license, support meaningful patient outcomes, and deepen their expertise in periodontics, gum disease treatment, and implant-focused care. What You Will Do:

• Deliver thorough dental hygiene care, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal charting, preventive care, fluoride treatments, sealants, and patient education.
• Support periodontal therapy by assisting with scaling and root planing workflows and helping patients understand their individualized treatment plans.
• Capture high-quality digital X-rays.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide in accordance with training, licensure, office protocols, and patient needs.
• Maintain excellent sterilization, infection-control, documentation, and operatory-readiness standards while contributing to an efficient, welcoming patient experience.

What You Will Bring:

• You hold an active Registered Dental Hygienist license and have completed an accredited dental hygiene education program.
• You bring strong periodontal charting, prophylaxis, dental hygiene, and preventive care skills, with a patient-first clinical approach.
• You are confident taking digital X-rays, explaining oral health findings clearly, and building trust with patients who may feel anxious about treatment.
• You maintain current CPR/BLS certification and follow clinical safety, sterilization, and compliance standards with care.
• You communicate effectively with dentists, periodontists, assistants, and administrative teammates in a collaborative in-person setting.

Preferred Clinical Experience:

• Experience in a periodontal practice, specialty dental office, or surgical dental environment will help you make an immediate impact.
• Familiarity with dental implants, gum grafting, periodontal therapy, local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and advanced oral screening technology is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Earn a competitive hourly rate of $65 to $70 per hour , based on qualifications and experience.
