In this role, you will lead day-to-day operations, drive P&L outcomes, head recruiting initiatives, carry out current SOPs, and assist in establishing new procedures. Key responsibilities include managing:
The Team - 50–80 direct reports (Drivers, Foremen, Helpers), including hiring and firingThe Fleet - 25–30 Trucks (Straight diesel and gas trucks)Projects - 15 to 20 daily moving projects
Candidates must: Be passionate about solving problems - for our clients, the organization, your teammates, yourselfBe willing to work weekends. That is our busiest time of service. Peak season = March to OctoberBe willing to work a mix of opening shifts (7am-4pm) and closing shifts (11am - 8pm)Be willing to work up to 50 hours in a week as needed seasonallyRepresent our organization in a positive and professional mannerLearn our CRM and KPI expectations to drive operational excellenceProvide leadership and guidance on day-to-day decision making for individual crews running projects. Additional expectations: Maintain a complete understanding of all of 6th Man Mover’s products, services, pricing, and promotionsCommunicate with customers who have any concerns regarding the service we are providing on the day of, or after completion of their movePromote a positive operational TEAM aspect at our business, while acting in a professional manner
Job Type: Full-timeSalary Range of $70,000 to $80,000 annually.Benefits: 401(k) matchingPaid time off
