Job Summary The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive EHS programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and foster a safe and healthy working environment. This role focuses on preventing incidents, promoting best practices, and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance across Jabil's operations. Job Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) and Jabil's internal standards. * Conduct regular EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions. * Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence. * Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, supervisors, and contractors on various topics including hazard communication, emergency preparedness, machine guarding, ergonomics, and waste management. * Maintain accurate EHS records, documentation, and reporting as required by regulatory agencies and internal Jabil policies. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and human resources, to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of the business. * Manage and oversee the proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. * Monitor environmental performance metrics, such as air emissions, wastewater discharge, and waste generation, and implement strategies for improvement. * Participate in the review of new equipment, processes, and facility modifications to ensure EHS requirements are incorporated from the design phase. * Stay current with emerging EHS regulations, industry best practices, and technologic
