Description: <p><b> POSITION TITLE: </b> Automotive Service Writer </p><p><b> REPORTS TO: </b> Service Manager </p><p><b> DEPARTMENT: </b> Service </p><p><b> POSITION SUMMARY: </b> The Automotive Service Writer acts as the liaison between customers and the service department to ensure timely and accurate service and build customer relationships. </p><p></p><p><b> Essential Job Functions: </b></p><ul><li> Provides helpful, friendly and respectful customer service with a We Can Do That attitude. </li><li> Combines advanced automotive knowledge with strong leadership skills to effectively collaborate with the service technician team to ensure best in class service to customers. </li><li> Builds strong customer relationships to generate repeat customers. </li><li> Creates work schedules and manages service center workflow. </li><li> Leads and mentors junior technicians to assist in their growth and development. </li><li> Road tests vehicles. </li><li> Maintain a clean and safe work environment. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Secondary Job Functions: </b></p><ul><li> Cross train in other areas as needed. </li><li> Other duties as assigned </li></ul> Requirements: <p><b> Position Requirements: </b></p><ul><li> Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician. </li><li> Must possess a valid Driver's License. </li><li> ASE Certifications and/or a technical school degree are preferred but not required. </li><li> Strong communication skills </li></ul><p><b> Compensation details: </b> 0 Yearly Salary </p><p> PI39f0d5-</p>
