Application Support Specialist

Job Title: Manager (M3) (Associate III-Technologist) Function / Department: Support Services-Applications Experience - 4yr-6yrs Job Location: Mumbai Job Purpose: To ensure stable, secure, and compliant operations of the Crop Loan Origination System (Crop LOS) by providing end‑to‑end application support. The role supports uninterrupted business operations for Crop Loans, KCC, and Agri‑Allied Lending, ensuring timely processing and minimal impact to business users and customers. Key Accountabilities: Provide production application support for Crop LOS. Monitor application performance and ensure high system availability and stability. Manage incidents, problems, and changes in line with defined IT processes. Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent resolution of recurring issues. Support and coordinate business Change Requests (CRs) ensuring controlled implementation. Address Application Security (AppSec) findings and support closure of audit and compliance observations. Ensure adherence to RBI / NABARD regulatory guidelines and internal compliance requirements. Support API and system integrations with CBS, external agencies, and third‑party vendors. Coordinate with Business, IT teams, and vendors to resolve application‑related issues. Provide timely communication and updates during incidents and business‑critical situations. Support business operations during peak seasonal volumes with high ownership. Key Skills & Experience Strong understanding of Banking Domain, preferably with exposure to Crop Loans / KCC / Agri‑Lending. Experience in LOS Application Support or Production Support. Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes. Awareness of application security, audits, and regulatory compliance. Basic understanding of system integrations and API‑based data flows. Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
