This role is ideal for customer-focused professionals who enjoy working in fast-paced, event-driven environments. Position Overview The Sales Associate will support merchandise sales during live performances, helping create a smooth and positive guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, maintaining organized displays, and supporting inventory and closing procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly, efficient customer service to event attendees. Process merchandise purchases accurately using point-of-sale systems. Assist with merchandise setup, display maintenance, restocking, and breakdown. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales area. Handle cash and payment transactions responsibly in accordance with established procedures. Support inventory counts and report discrepancies to onsite leadership. Work collaboratively with team members during busy pre-show, intermission, and post-show periods. Attend required orientation and training sessions. Qualifications Previous retail, hospitality, customer service, or event experience is preferred. Strong communication skills and a professional, guest-focused approach. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting, stocking, and merchandise handling. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, matinees, and event-based schedules. Schedule This is a project-based assignment supporting a multi-week live performance run. Team members will not necessarily be scheduled for every shift. Availability for a required orientation and a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend performance shifts is required.
