Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Marketing Coordinator role based in Chennai. The Sales Marketing Coordinator will support the planning and execution of sales promotion and cross-promotion campaigns with oil and FMCG partners, coordinating activities between internal teams, clients, and vendors. The role includes assisting with event planning at fuel stations and other venues, managing campaign timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring marketing materials are prepared and deployed on schedule. The coordinator will help gather and organize customer data from campaigns, prepare basic reports, and support sales presentations and proposals. Day-to-day tasks also include maintaining documentation, handling routine client communication, and contributing to content for sales collateral and campaign communication. Qualifications Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written interactions with clients and internal teams. Sales and client relationship skills to support business development activities and ongoing partner engagement. Event planning and on-ground coordination skills to manage campaign logistics and promotional activities. Writing skills for basic marketing content, presentations, and campaign documentation. Project management abilities to handle timelines, multitask across campaigns, and follow through on deliverables. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Comfort working on-site at campaign locations and willingness to travel locally as needed. Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace) and basic reporting in spreadsheets or presentations. Experience in marketing coordination, promotions, or events is an advantage, especially in FMCG or automotive-related sectors.
