Infectious Disease Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $212.43 - $229.95
This facility is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: Call week is Monday–Monday, 8:00 AM–8:00 AM. During the call week, the provider also supports outpatient needs such as prescription refills, orders/signatures, and staff questions. Clinic may be scheduled during call week with reduced volume. Follow-up/non-call weeks are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Clinic is typically Monday–Thursday, 2–3 clinic shifts per week.
Practice Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Types of Cases: Infectious Disease; inpatient consultations and follow-up, outpatient clinic, hospital follow-up, prescriptions, orders, and staff questions.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days; temporary privileges available
Electronic Medical Record: Epic
Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support; Board Certified in Internal Medicine–Infectious Disease required
Licensure Required: Georgia only
