Director, Online Business Operations (remote)

Relate Search has partnered with a large, growing national pharmaceutical manufacturer to identify an experienced Director of Operations for its Charlotte, North Carolina operation. This high-impact leadership role will oversee manufacturing operations while driving operational excellence, process improvement, and continued organizational growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in pharmaceutical manufacturing, a hands-on leadership approach, and proven success implementing Lean Manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance within a highly regulated environment. Provide strategic leadership and direction across manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and financial objectives
Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, operational efficiency, and cost savings
Develop, coach, and mentor Operations leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence
Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to improve manufacturing processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support production objectives
Develop and execute operational strategies that improve capacity, equipment utilization, and overall manufacturing performance while supporting long-term business growth
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; Eight or more years of progressive Operations leadership experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing or a similarly regulated environment
Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Process Improvement initiatives with measurable operational results
Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, manufacturing processes, and quality systems
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, manage operational budgets, and drive organizational change within complex manufacturing environments
