If you have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality, we invite you to join our dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all aspects of banquet events, including setup, service, and breakdownLead and motivate banquet staff to ensure high standards of service and professionalismCollaborate with event planners and clients to understand event requirements and special requestsEnsure timely and accurate execution of event timelines and service sequencesMonitor and maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in banquet areasManage inventory and ensure proper setup of tables, linens, and equipmentAddress and resolve any issues or guest concerns promptly and professionallyAssist with training and development of banquet staff to uphold service excellenceSkills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Banquet Captain or similar role in hospitality or event managementStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneouslyKnowledge of food and beverage service standardsAttention to detail and organizational skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related certification preferredJoin our team at the Doubletree Portland and be part of a vibrant, customer-focused environment that values growth, teamwork, and excellence.
