Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Mumbai. The Fashion Designer will develop concepts and collections, create sketches and technical drawings, and select fabrics, trims, and embellishments aligned with brand identity. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with pattern makers and tailors, overseeing fittings, and refining designs to achieve the desired silhouette and comfort. The role involves working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards, timelines, and cost considerations are met. The Fashion Designer will also research trends, textiles, and techniques, and contribute to lookbooks, presentations, and brand visual direction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development and collection planning.
• Candidates should possess hands-on Embroidery skills and an understanding of decorative techniques and finishes.
• Candidates should possess experience with Fitting, body measurements, and garment adjustments to achieve accurate fit.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Textiles, including fabric properties, drape, and suitability for different designs.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in fashion illustration and CAD tools, such as Adobe Illustrator or similar design software.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time management abilities, and effective communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the fashion industry.
