Role Description The Interior Designer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, contributing to projects from initial concept through final execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing mood boards and layouts, and producing detailed drawings and specifications. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and suppliers, selecting finishes and furnishings, and ensuring that designs meet functional, aesthetic, budgetary, and timeline requirements. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, conduct site visits, oversee implementation quality, and support project documentation and presentations.
Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) skills, including selection, specification, and coordination.
• Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts for usability, circulation, and aesthetics.
• Understanding of Architecture principles to integrate interior solutions with structural and building constraints.
• Ability to prepare accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution and approvals.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Strong visual, conceptual, and detail-oriented design skills, with an organized approach to project management.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, project teams, and vendors.
• Prior experience in residential and/or commercial interior projects in an on-site setting is beneficial.
